Winter 2012 Message

Stu Freeman - Culver City Historical SocietyPresident’s Message
by Stu Freeman, President

Dear Members,

This will be my last message as President of your Culver City Historical Society. It has been four wonderful years of learning and working with a group of dedicated members (now friends) who together have improved and moved our Archives & Resource Center (ARC) significantly forward.

Movies that were made here in Culver City are shown at the ARC on the first and third Saturdays of the month; MGM costumes are displayed on a regular rotation; and personalized tours for our Sister Cities, school children, other historical societies and city employees are only part of the programs and events we now offer.

On January 18, 2012, we will be installing our newly-elected Board of Directors for a two-year term with a festive Installation dinner at the historic Culver Studios. I hope that you will all join us (see pg. 1 for more information).

We have elected some terrific people to serve and I know that with your continued support, your Culver City Historical Society will thrive.

I personally thank you all for your past support throughout my terms as President.
