An ongoing task is continuing to digitize the many period photographs: Large-scale aerial photos taken in various decades since the 1920s, panoramic views of the city streets and storefronts, civic and historic events, parades, dignitaries, nightclubs, historic landmarks that no longer exist. Also on site are some photo collections of the fire department and the police department. Many of these photos have been digitized into high resolution files.
