The Culver City Historical Society pays tribute to some of the pioneering Make Up Artists who worked for different studios, including MGM and Culver Studios.
This amazing collection of EARLY Joan Crawford was donated to the Culver City Historical Society from Kimble Walsh.
Before moving to Georgia, Kimble reach out to us about this collection. We set an appointment and he brought the collection in. After going through the items for donation, we decided to only keep the items that were from Joan’s early MGM days. She started at MGM in the silent era and in the 1930’s she left MGM and went to Warner Brothers, where she had a very long career.
We are so honored to be the caretakers for this collection and hope that you will stop by and enjoy a walk through the past of everything JOAN.
