Roadside Attractions were big in California!! Who remembers the Iconic Pup Café?
The Pup was built by Joseph Maddox and his 3 sons in 1929, at 5406 West Adams.
By 1934 it was sold and moved to 12718 Washington Blvd at Wade St.
It remained a restaurant until the late 1960’s when it was purchased for the last time as Ugly Dog Records. The Iconic Pup was gone in 1971.
