This structure was built by Eugene Donovan to house his printing/publishing company. The Citizen newspaper was printed onsite  by presses that were housed at the back of the building. Prior to building this structure, the Donovan Family’s printing and publishing headquarters in Culver City were just around the corner from Main Street. In the late 1990s, Josetta Sbeglia purchased the building which is a local landmark and is also recognized on the National Register of Historic Places.
